Dancing With The Stars (possible spoilers)

Even tho I woke up early to see the announcement on TV of who was gonna be on the show this season, I totally didn't blog about it. Nor did I blog about last week's first show and eliminations.

But I can't keep silent any longer!!! I love this show and I'm so glad it's back!

We've already seen 3 stars booted off ... 2 in the first week and 1 last night. I'm not disappointed in the slightest with who has left so far. I totally expected Jeffrey Ross to be first. And I'm extremely thankful he was cuz I don't think I could have handled another season of Edyta. She annoys the hell outta me and her costumes are always the same looking. bandeau top, skirt cut up to her waist and some fabric draping from her shoulder to her waist. Most times it doesn't even look like a dress, just a bunch of fabric hanging from her in strategic places. Which I'm sure men love. Me - not so much. I enjoy the pretty dresses and costumes.

But I digress

After him was ted McGinley, which i felt kinda bad about. He was paired with a first time pro, so I'm sure that didn't help. And he's been out of the public eye for about 15 zillion years. And he kept saying how he was representing the "normal guy" which is all well and good, but since most people remember him from revenge of the Nerds where he TORTURED the little guy, I don't think he got cut any slack.

And lastly - last night we got rid of Kim Kardashian

HUZZAH!!!!!

I cannot stand that woman. She's frigging famous for being in a SEX VIDEO!!!! reality TV star my azz!!!! And she tried to play all demure and whatnot like she doesn't feel as sexy as her persona is. MY AZZ AGAIN!!!

So I'm glad she's gone. Plus it was getting so painful to watch Mark ballas overdancing to compensate for her under-dancing. I almost threw my shoe at the tv monday night (but then I remembered I wasn't watching in real time so I just fast forwarded to the good parts)

My opinions on the celebrities this season?

Well I think Ms. Lucci is gonna go far, even if she is kinda teh suck, cuz she has a rabid fan base. Much like Marie Osmond 2 seasons ago.

I think Cody Linley is adorable. And his Rhumba last night was AMAZING!!! which of course makes me feel like a cougar/dirty old woman. Thank goodness he's 18!





I'm not a fan of Rocco Dispirito. I used to watch his reality TV show and he's an arrogant bastard imho.

Lance Bass and his partner need to watch their arrogance too cuz this whole "we're not dancing for the judges" shtick is getting old...and it's only week 2. Show a little humility or else you're gonna be next (after Cloris Leachman hopefully ... I mean I admire her doing this, but she's pathetic!)

I love Brooke Burke. I think she's been amazing. But her lack of fan base may hinder her.

Toni Braxton is inspiring but unless she ups her game I see her out in a couple weeks as well

imho the only reason Maurice green is still around is cuz of his partner Cheryl Burke. Once the playing field gets smaller he'll be one of the first to go.

I like Misty may-treanor. But monday night she looked like a robot. her moves were correct, but her face has no soul.

And lastly, my FAVORITE!!!! (did you have any doubts?)

Quick rundown before I leave for darts

Shannon Elizabeth. Gods bless her, she really tried, but her legs look so awkward. And The boy Hough gets another girl he prolly had a crush on prior to working with her.

Monica Seles. Her partner worked wonders with her, but i will be extremely shocked if she doesn't go home next week. She just looks awkward and so out of her element. A billion kudos to her for trying tho.

Pricilla Presley. ummmm. yea. seriously she needs to lay off the plastic surgery. She's starting to look like that crazy cat woman. Other than that it was decent. And I guess I applaud her for being the most "mature" woman ever on DWTS



Marissa Jaret Winokur was absolutely the cutest thing EVER!!!! I hope she stays on for awhile cuz I absolutely love her! Tony needs to get her doing more tho, theu judges were right.

Marlee Matlin was surprisingly really good! And I loved that she didn't try and talk alot cuz frankly i know that freaks alot of people out.

And finally , Kristy Yamaguchi!! OMG!!! She was almost flawless!!!

So my picks for the finals are Kristy and Mario.

i apologize in advance for spelling errors, It's 4am and I've had some adult beverages.

okay ... so I wanna do a better blog when I wake up tomorrow, complete with pics and crap, but I'm watching the men dance right now online and I have to say that I do believe the winner this year will be a woman.

Penn Gillette wasn't too bad. A little stiff but he had fun and a great attitude so I really liked him!

Jason Taylor is SEXXXY!!! really good for being a defensive football player. I mean, I totally expected Emmitt and Jerry Rice to be able to move since it's part of their job, but JT is HOTTT.... just not sure he's hot enough. And I'm not a big fan of his partner Edyta (sorry Mr. B)

Cristian de la Fuente is also SEXXXY ... but sadly he shows that just because you're latino/a doesn't mean you can dance. He gave a good shot and he was better than Penn .... but not as good as JT imho.

Adam Corrolla was a frigging corpse dancing. seriously. I love him. The Man Show was pure genius and Lovelines with Dr. Drew is fabulous, but the man has a stick up his behind and the rhythm of the whitest man on the planet (sorry white men)

HOLY KAU!!! Did I say a woman would win? Yea ... I didn't see Mario and Karina yet. Just watched them and all i have to say is WOW!!! That was extremely sexy! Is Karina still dating mario Lopez? Cuz if she is I think he needs to watch out for the new Mario in town.

And finally Steve Guttenberg. My first impression ... how much frigging plastic surgery has he had? I barely recognized him. And his hands are HUUUUGE!!! But other than that he looked stupendous. Not as smooth as Mario or as dapper as JT, but not as horrid as poor Adam.

And can I say i'm so happy that they seem to be matching music better this season. Of course this is only the first show of the season.

And now I'm off to watch the women that I have recorded on the DVR.

YAY for Helio!!!!

While I would have been equally happy to see Mel B. and Maksim win last night, Helio totally won my heart from day one. Plus he kinda looks like a guy i used to have a crush on many many years ago. ^_^

I was just happy Marie didn't end up in the final 2 or (gods forbid) winning the damn show. I mean seriously! Did you SEE her freestyle dance?

(warning...don't watch if you have a phobia of dolls ... and also it might make you wanna punch your computer monitor...watch at your own risk)

I can't even begin to FATHOM how she thought that would be a good idea!!! Because she's a doll designer? So designing dolls basically makes you an obnoxious idiot.

I used to be a Marie Osmond fan. I'm completely guilty of watching old Donny and Marie shows and singing along, wanting to be "a little bit country". But this whole season on Dancing With The Stars she continually talked down to the judges and everyone else, but she always ended with a giggle or a laugh. I guess that was her way to downplay how obnoxious she was. I swore to Kevin that if she won I'd never watch DWTS again! (thank the gods that didn't happen)

So, even tho I thought Mel and Max were just as deserving, I'm happy that Helio won. I absolutely loved him.

Dancing With The Stars

I'm just on my way to sleep after watching tonight's show on DVR (yes it's really 5AM in my world) and I have a couple things to say.

First of all WTF are they doing dancing a quickstep to THE CURE!?!?! I mean seriously! some things in this world are sacred.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!!???!!

Altho I shouldn't be surpirsed it was Cameron and Edyta. I really can't stand Edyta. I know some people that read this blog and watch this show like her, but I never have. That's another blog. Prolly tomorrow complete with video and jpg support of the reasons I can't stand her.

The other thing that pissed me off. Why did everyone but Cameron and Edyta show support for Sabrina? Everyone had little cheetah paw tattoos on their arms or backs or wrists. Even Marie Osmond and Jane Seymour, who have been very vocal about how "age-ist" the show is since they're older.

Everyone had a symbol of solidarity and it was referred to again and again thru the night when Samantha Harris was referring to voting to keep the people you like on the show.

Everyone but Cameron and Edyta. And that pissed me the hell off.

My fave since the beginning has been Helio. Also worthy of another blog when I'm more awake and sober.

Anyway, this season has pissed me off more than I can count and twice more tonight.
