What's been going on
Quick blog update - what's been going on in our lives
- I got a pound of aluminum jump rings so I've been working on different chainmaille weaves.
- Sent in the application for Allen Park's Summer Festival this week *crosses fingers* - Find out about Wyandotte in 2 weeks *crosses toes* - Also asked about info to participate in the Ferndale MotorCityPride festival
- Watched the Oscars on Sunday - was THRILLED about Slumdog Millionaire - if you haven't seen it yet - GO!!! You won't be disappointed at all
- Watched "The Uninvited" last night - never saw the ending coming! yes it's horror - but it's brilliantly done imho
- Got a flat tire on Sunday when we went shopping. Had to cut the day short so we could make it home (we didn't have a spare tire) spent like $1000 on fix-a-flat trying to limp home. Turned out the tire was slashed from something we prolly ran over on Southfield. Gotta love Michigan roads.
- Planning on watching Pineapple Express tonight. I hear it's amazingly funny. We'll see. Seth Rogan's laugh annoys the hell outta me. Could be cuz of the zillions of outtakes we watched from "Zach and Miri make a Porno" tho.
- Speaking of Z&M - pretty decent movie - really funny - until they actually start making the porno - then Kevin Smith kinda loses focus imho
- Still working on super secret blog project - just got put on hold for a little bit
- Spent Saturday w/ da banshee celebrating her bday weekend. She picked all my karaoke songs. realized i totally don't know "white" music at all (Weezer, Killers, etc) but I can throw down some rap like a pro YO!
- Still working our way through season 2 of Dexter - and season 3 is already over.

- I think that's it for now - hubby's gonna be home soon and I haven't had dinner yet and it's after 10pm
on a side note I'm pretty pissed at my high school graduating class president or whatever right now. She just joined facebook and instead of contacting all of us herself, she contacted someone (who I'm assuming is a fellow class officer but I don't remember who they were) and had him send out a mass message on the site asking everyone to get in touch with her and send her our contact info.
what. the. fuck.
is she too fucking lazy to do it her damn self?
(let it be known i have no problem with this particular person or the person she asked to do her dirty work - but seriously how hard is it to join the class of 19?? group on facebook (i dont' want to incriminate anyone with search words) yourself and post that you want everyone's contact info for the reunion? It sure is hella easier than having someone be all "xxx is my friend here on facebook and she wants you all to contact her personally" cuz then you don't have to go digging through profiles and shit. This is obviously someone who isn't completely down with social networking via teh interwebz imho)
