Pirate Scarf FINISHED!!!!!

well ... okay...not quite.

I still have to weave in the ends and put a border around the whole scarf (which will take me about an hour max to finish) but look!!!!






Please excuse the fact that I had to take this in the bathroom mirror and chop of my head to get the whole scarf in the way I wanted. I promise better pics are coming .... I just need batteries for my camera.

After much tweaking of the graph pattern I had and a couple of nights of drunk crochet (where I had to rip everything out the next morning and start over lol) I finally have it 99% done.

I haven't measured it yet but it's at least 6 feet long and about 8 inches wide.

And I frigging love it!!!

Tomorrow I start pirate scarf #2 (2nd one same as the first)

Some things on my mind

2. I was so uberglad the Giants won! I thought that was one of the better Superbowls I've seen in a long time. I know it was disappointing cuz it wasn't all high scoring and stuff, but I loved watching how well the Giants defense just walked all over the Pats offense. I've been both a Giants and a Pats fan for years, and Brady being a Michigan boy has always made him one of my faves, but that whole spygate thing from earlier in the year really turned me off of them. Plus I wanted to 72 Dolphins to live in Perfectville alone (sorry Jessi)

3. I super addicted to singsnap (in case you didn't notice). Currently I'm in Round 2 of the rap contest (which I will prolly not go any further) and I've auditioned for 2 other contests. And I did some drunk-ass karaoke the other night ... it was so bad.

4. There are rumors floating around that Guillermo del Toro is going to be directing "The Hobbit" which makes me OH-SO happy! I am seriously in love with his films!

So let's see...my sister lives in Austin, plus TX is closer to NOLA and they have UFOs and mythical creatures....SIGN ME UP!!!!!

I can't believe I've made it this far

I can't believe I've gone into February and haven't missed a blog day yet. A coupld of times I've come close, but I haven't missed. Maybe this will be easier than I thought.
