A Little Fall of rain (from 8-9-2006)
I have to confess an addiction. Broadway stations. Specifically the Modern Broadway station on Y!M Launchcast. I have been listening to it so often lately. It's where I get to hear such gems like "I'm not Dead Yet" from Spamalot, "The Sales Pitch" from Groovelilly the Musical, "Popular" from Wicked and of course "A Little Fall of Rain" from Les Miz.
That song always reminds me of high school and WCT. Every girl I knew wanted to be Eponine (including me). Somehow we got sheet music to "A Little Fall of Rain" and we would go up into the Puce room at WCT and sit at the piano and sing. I specifically remember Emily, Dave and Jayson ... maybe Chicken and Amy Sinka too? I just remember switching between me and Emily singing Eponine and Dave being Marius. And I played the piano. I'm pretty sure Jayson was my page turner. Ahhhh...good times.
Netflix (from 8-8-2--6)
So, Kevin and I finally broke down and got a netflix account. If anyone out there has one and wants to friend us we're under magikjaz@gmail.com as our email address. Based on the recommendations of the party we went to Friday night we have 2 movies coming in tomorrow....Battle Royale and Three ... Extremes. Both Asian. BR was highly recommended by Stan and TE on the site itself...plus it's asian horror which we love.
So my plea to you is to tell me what you think of netflix (if you have it) and some movie recommendations. Some of the movies already in our queue: House of Sand and Fog, Ploughman's Lunch, Rush R30, Night Watch, 21 grams and Citizen Kane (yes...I've never seen it!)

I ran across this story years ago on a site called Shadowlands in one of their forums.
Seriously....you should read this. But don't read it at night in a dark room with no illumination but the computer screen....you may regret it.
