Fuck today! I can't believe it! I should have thought about it yesterday when Larry asked me when i was working and I said "saturday" and he was all "oh too bad. we're all going out tomorrow" and I didn't even *think* to ask him to come up to Sultana's ... I guess i just assumed that they were going to Boogie Fever...someplace without karaoke. I mean cuz obviously if they wanted karaoke they'd come see me, right? WRONG! I get an IM today from Anna:

Hitchhiker's Guide

Kevin got me a gift the other day. Well, actually the both of us. It's the 5 book collection by the guy that wrote Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He got it so I would be able to read it before the movie comes out (at the end of April) See we're doing a movie marathon benefit (DETAILS HERE) and chances are it will be one of the movies shown....at least we hope so. So I'm gonna start it Monday I think. I'd start it today, but Fruit is supposed to come visit this weekend and I don't wanna start and not be able to read for a few days. If i like it as much as Kevin seems to think I will, I probably won't be able to put it down. We'll see tho.

I finally finished Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk. That book is completely messed up! I'm not surprised tho. All his stuff is pretty messed up. I can't wait to get the other book we don't have ... "Diary"...

Kevin made me a salad yesterday and brought it home. I love his for it, but he KNOWS i hate fruit with savory. This salad has chicken and cheeses and dried cherries and pineapple pieces. BLECH! So I tried eating it with the fruit and i don't like it. So I'm only eating the chicken with the yummy mint signature dressing. I love him for trying, but he really needs to listen to me. He said he made it specifically so i would try something different. I'm open to almost any kind of food, but I just don't like sweet with savory. The only exceptions are hawaiian pizza (ham and pineapple) & sweet & sour pork.i feel badly for wasting most of the salad. Oh well. He said he's gonna make me another one tonight...WITHOUT fruit!
