Bored on a Saturday night

I should be going through boxes in the 2nd bedroom, or scanning boxes of pictures into my computer, but instead I'm playing facebook games and catching up on General Hospital episodes from this week. I don't feel like being productive right now. Plus it's a Saturday night and I'm home instead of out doing karaoke or something. so sad.

So I'm feeling better. Mouth still hurts a little, but I didn't have to pop as many pain pills today. Still feel like I'm not getting decent sleep. I ended up taking a nap around 7pm, which was probably a bad idea, but I couldn't keep my eyes open. Slept for about an hour. Woke up to a crappy football game.

OH! Went to BluArch Gallery in Birmingham and dropped off some new pretties I made. I posted the pics on my facebook page and will post them on my magikjazcreations blog too. It's a super boost to my ego To drop things off for them :)

Dental drama

So, I don't know why my teeth always pick this time of year to act up, but they do.

on Monday make it started to hurt. I took some pain pills in hopes that it would get better, but it didn't. by Wednesday my mouth had swollen in one area and I was running a slight fever. I scoured the apt. and found a bottle containing 4 antibiotic pills I hadn't taken a couple months ago. I took them (as prescribed) and called the dentist. They refused to call in any type of prescription without seeing me first, but the next available appt wasn't until Friday (today).

Luckily I had those pills. turns out I had an abscess and the dentist did a root canal on me today. He also pulled out a broken tooth next to the infected one. The entire procedure didn't hurt at all and the dentist prescribed Motrin and antibiotics. However, about 5 minutes after leaving the office I had so much pain I couldn't think straight. Hubby and I were supposed to run errands, but instead came straight home and I took a pain pill while he went to fill my prescriptions.

After about 2 hours everything finally kicked in and I was able to take a short nap. Felt a billion times better when I awoke. I can still feel a slight infection, but i'm sure that will be gone in a couple days.

I really can't wait until all this tooth stuff is done. I still need a couple cavities filled, 2 more root canals and at least
1 more tooth pulled before I can start working towards getting my smile back. I cannot wait.

He drives me crazy

Seriously, sometimes I wish I had a mute button for My husband. Playing catch up on a show tonight and he starts asking all kind of questions. "what's going on?" "is this the storyline now?" "where's blah blah blah?"

I'm watching the same damn thing he is!!! I haven't kept up with anything about the show cuz we've been so far behind!

STOP ASKING QUESTIONS!!!!!

but otherwise I really love him.

2013 - day 2

(for some reason my cell phone doesn't like the blogger app. Must fix that asap)

Spent most of today sleeping since I didn't fall asleep until around 7AM or so. Having tooth issues again (yes again.) Think I broke a tooth the other day and it's now infected. Have 4 amox from my last infection that I took today and made an appt. for Friday at noon. Pretty sure it's either gonna end up a root canal or pulled (hoping for the RC).

Once I finally awoke and got motivated  (and out of pain) I worked on some trees to take to the gallery on Saturday. I'll post a couple pics of what I'm taking on my magikjaz creations blog tomorrow.

Not much else going on. Life is good. Hubby still has his awesome job. (even tho he doesn't love it) And we're settling into our new apt. Once I finish up creating things for the gallery over the next couple days, I get to go through and organize my craft room and make it ALL MINE!!! YAY!!!!
