Well i made the mistake of opening my mouth in the Lions forum I'm in and they all jumped down my throat. Instead of politely pointing out that what i said was mistaken they were brutal and mean. I'm so tempted to just remove myself from the group but I'm not. Instead I just won't say anything anymore. I shouldn't have expected anything less from a bunch of boys but I guess i was hoping.

Hormel Bestows New SPAM Cans to 100 Ticket Buyers as Spamalot Box Office Opens, Dec. 6
By Ernio Hernandez

Spamalot artwork on the can's front

The company that was immortalized in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" will return to the favor by offering 100 ticket buyers cans of a new SPAM flavor when the Shubert Theatre box office for the upcoming Broadway musical Monty Python's Spamalot opens Dec. 6.

Hormel Foods will introduce a limited edition flavor, SPAM golden honey grail, in a "Spamalot collector's edition" can to the first 100 fans on line when the box office opens Dec. 6 at 10 AM.

"SPAM products have been spoofed by the Monty Python comedy team for decades," said Hormel Foods senior product manager Nick Meyer. "The brand is beloved by many, so we are pleased to offer this special collector's edition can and SPAM golden honey grail to consumers."

"SPAM is the holy grail of canned meats," says Pythoner and Spamalot lyricist and bookwriter Eric Idle. "We're thrilled to dine on SPAM golden honey grail at the round table of Spamalot."

The can, according to a release, features Spamalot graphics and characters from the new musical and instructions in "Spamalot-ese" on how to "cooketh" SPAM. The new SPAM golden honey grail flavor will be sold in limited quantities in February 2005 at select New York City retailers and the Shubert Theatre.

I haven't blogged in a long time. Not that it matters. No one reads this crap anyway lol.

Things are okay. I need to jump in the shower and do some housework. Kevin's at work. We had a great Thanksgiving except for the fact that Kevin got too drunk. That's forgivable tho because he had been working so hard and we were home and not going anywhere.

We had everyone here for the holiday and my mom did pretty good. She kept trying to push my dad's buttons, but she was okay with Denise. It probably helped that she was trashed herself. She drank a bottle and a half of champagne. We had a great amount of food. Denise brought cheesy potatoes, my mom brought tamales and sweet potato pie, I made jalapeno cheese cornbread and mashed sweet potatoes topped with bananas, and kevin made everything else. 2 turkeys, spiral sliced ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing and pumpkin cheesecake. YUM! We still have a few leftovers (which will hopefully be gone by tonight) I'm finishing up the pumpkin cheesecake right now and later gonna work on the mashed sweet potatoes. Kevin made turkey soup last night which we served kinda gumbo style over rice. YUM!!!!

The babies came over later on in the day. I played with them (Tyler, Zach and Keifer) It was so much fun! Keifer and i coloured together. KarrieAnn told me to ask him for the red crayon cuz he never gives it up since it's his favorite colour. So i did and he said "okay" and gave it to me. Her jaw dropped! It was awesome! We have his artwork up on the fridge right now lol. Kevin insisted.

OH! last week i almost got fired. Well I did get fired, but i got my job back. They said I closed early without telling anyone i was leaving. It was bullshit. I closed cuz Karen told me to cuz there were fights in the bar. So I promised the owner I would stay open until 2am from now on. When i walked in the bar Friday I told the night bartender the deal and found out it was her that said it!!!! She was the one that told me to shut down. So i said okay, well we have to stay open until 2am from now on and she said no, it was her call. I said not anymore I have to stay open until 2. BITCH! Oh i was pissed! I'm not working this Friday, Robbie is, But it should get interesting.

Crap! just looked at the calendar and the 31st is on Friday. I'm gonna have to tell Jim i can't work it.

Okay, I gotta go take a shower and make myself motivated. I'm sure I have more to say at a later date...maybe even later on today. *hugs*

I'm such a loser

Kevin has such faith in me. He gave me a simple assignment. Give him a sample Menu for the Mint Cafe that he could take back to them. He gave me the original menu and his revisions and said to do whatever I wanted to redesign it (within reason) and I can't. I'm such a complete and utter moron. I can't figure out how to do it. I can't do graphics. I don't know what to do. He's gonna be so disappointed and i don't know what to tell him. I'm crying so hard right now i can hardly see the computer screen.

Apparently I'm not nearly as smart as I thought I was. I'm just pretending. Why even bother with anything. I totally suck at everything I do. I half ass it all. I'll never be a web designer ... I'll never be able to do graphics. Hell I'm lucky if my frigging clothes match right now.

I can't believe i can't do this simple menu. You know what... lemme take a breath and look at it again. Maybe i can figure it out. Maybe I'm totally overreacting and I'll end up being the genius Kevin seems to think I am...altho i highly doubt it. Maybe I'll just go play some Slingo and lose more brain cells.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just took a look at my blog and man oh man I've been nothing but depressed since November 2nd. I really need to do something with my life or I'm going to end up institutionalized. I can't tell Kevin cuz he worries enough about me. I just don't know what to do.
okay, off to try and tackle this stupid menu again. *hugs*
I'm so upset. Today was one of the worst days. First I find out that the Black Sheep is closing. THEN I find out one of the coolest guys that goes in there died on Friday night. And finally (and this is the worst) MY WEDDING DRESS IS DISCONTINUED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so upset. I have to either find it or find a new one. Looks like I'm going shopping.
11/9/04
grrrrrrrr...neopets is down and I can't do anything I wanted to do tonight. I wanted to be productive. Oh well. Guess I'll do it tomorrow. After I do some cleaning. I have to clean the house for Kevin cuz he's working so hard. Plus i have to find some things to make some crafty things;)
I haven't been blogging much and i've had such fun lately! Saturday I went over to Larry's and me, him and Ricky played games and had some cocktails. It was a blast. kevin showed up around midnight. Hopefully he'll get there earlier than that next week if we go. We talked about the wedding and stuff too. Larry gave me great ideas which i can't share right here cuz I want them to be a surprise. I told my sister about one of them and she loved it tho! She wants to pay for the one idea. I'm gonna make a wedding blog i think. So i can share ideas easily amongst people.
Oh! Larry said if we have 17 months of saturdays to plan the wedding that mine will be in BRIDE magazine lol.
Ricky's going with me Sunday to the Ritz for a Bridal Expo. Normally velisia would go with me, but she's in VA:(
i'm so upset i can't even stand it. Bush won the re-election. Kerry just delievered his consession speech (however you spell it) It was okay, but he basically said we can't get Ohio and we needed it to win but we won't stop fighting for you. I cried. I can't believe our country is so stupid.
Just got this link from a friend
OMFG
talking about raising the national debt.
I'm so upset. I just wanna crawl into bed and cry. Our country cannot handle another 4 years of Bush. No jobs, no healthcare, no social security for the future, more taxes, more war, and more stupid media opportunities.
I have my own theory on this whole thing. I think Osama popping up last week spurred people on ... it reminded people of Sept. 11th rather than remind people of the job half done. Also the gay marriage bans listed on 10 states' ballots brought out the religious conservatives in droves. And finally the game on Sunday. They made such a big deal about it meaning the incumbent wouldn't win, i think it motivated his followers.
I have to go take a shower and make myself feel better otherwise I'm just gonna lay around all day.
Time to get ready to go vote. I tried getting to sleep again and it didn't work. So i played a few Neo games and read thru my blog a little bit. ran across a comment from ghostie! I didn't realize anyone actually read my blog but Cindy lol. And I've missed her comments lately. I can't wait until she gets internet again.
I have so much to do with the wedding i'm feeling overwhelmed right now. I need to get organized and sit down and plan. Thank goodness I asked for help from a couple people. I was just surfing theknot.com and it is just so much to do. And I went to sleep early and woke up about a 1/2 hour ago cuz the cat was meowing like crazy and now i can't go back to sleep. Have to be up in 4 1/2 hours to go vote, so i guess I just wait it out, take a shower around 6 to wake myself up, and maybe make breakfast. Thank goodness we have eggs.
Shatner aims for real 'Star Trek'
Friday, October 22, 2004 Posted: 10:40 AM EDT (1440 GMT)
LONDON, England -- William Shatner wants to boldly go where he's only pretended to go so far.
The "Star Trek" star is among more than 7,000 people who have told Richard Branson they would gladly pay him $210,000 (£115,000) for a trip aboard his planned spacecraft, the entrepreneur said Friday.
Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Dave Navarro has signed up for a ride, and a Hollywood director who was not identified has booked an entire ship.
Trevor Beattie, chairman of the ad agency TBWA -- responsible for campaigns such as the "Hello Boys" Wonderbra campaign with Eva Herzigova -- offered to send a check as soon as the project was launched last month.
In all, more than $1.45 billion (£800 million) has been pledged -- years before the Virgin Galactic spaceship is even built, Branson said.
Branson, 54, is pouring $135 million (£74 million) into his latest commercial experiment, which promises to send the paying public 70 miles above the planet to experience six minutes of weightlessness and see the curvature of the Earth.
Speaking from the Mojave Desert in California, Branson told the UK's Press Association he was overwhelmed by the response.
"We are extremely pleased because it just means in a sense that the gamble we took seems to have paid off," he said.
"Market research suggested that there were that sort of number of people willing to agree to that sort of price.
"We have committed £60 million and we have had a tremendous take-up. All indicators are that the risk was worth taking.
In addition to that amount, Virgin has spent £14 million buying the licensing rights to Burt Rutan's SpaceShipOne, which successfully launched into space twice earlier this month to win the $10 million Ansari X Prize.
Five- or nine-seater spacecraft are being designed which will travel at three times the speed of sound. The journey into space will last around three and a half hours.
Despite the interest, Branson said the first flight will be reserved for him and his family -- including his father, Ted.
The spacecraft is scheduled to be ready in 2008 -- to coincide with the elder Branson's 90th birthday.
"My dad has put his hand up and will be 90 at the time, my kids definitely want to come and if there is room for my mum she will come as well," Branson said.
If his father joined the flight, he would be the oldest person to fly in space, beating U.S. senator and space pioneer John Glenn, who went back into space in 2001 at age 77.
Alongside would his mother Eve, 80, his 21-year-old daughter Holly and 18-year-old son Sam.
But Branson said his wife, Joan, has no desire to leave the planet.
"My kids definitely want to go, my parents definitely want to go, but Joan will have her feet firmly on the ground, I suspect, trying to encourage the kids to stay on the ground."
Virgin will build five spaceships, and Branson said he hopes they will eventually be launched from various stations around the world, including Europe.
"If we can make it a success, then I hope we can lower the price so that more people can realize their dream and go into space.
Some news! My friend Dave has set a wedding date. It's earlier than mine and Kevin's (of course...we are the royal couple of long engagements) I'm hoping we can make it out there next year for the wedding. *crosses fingers*
We went to Toledo today to get smokes. Go every couple of weeks cuz it's much cheeper down there. Got a carton plus a pack for 22 bucks;) So anyway, we see gas is like 13 cents cheaper than it is up here AND there's a Meijer's. Well sometimes the Meijer's up here gives 10 cents off a gallon and stuff like that when you buy stuff, so we figure what the hell. We need things for dinner anyway. We go in and happen across an "international foods" aisle. It catches my eye cuz of the Matzo at the beginning. I love Matzo. Especially Egg and Onion Matzo. So we continue down the aisle and they got German and English (no dandelion and burdock, but they did have clotted cream and a trifle mix) then to Mediterranean (tahini sauce yay!) and Asian (lots of wasabi and stuff) and then... The thing i was so happy for i almost cried! ... Southern food! But not really southern.... CAJUN!!!!!!! They had Tony Chachere EVERYTHING... INCLUDING INSTANT ROUX!!!!!!! I about died! We been saving our dry roux for a special occassion to make the gumbo...we don't have to anymore! AND they had cake mixes to make Velvet cake...red, yellow and black! We could have a whole CAJUN meal! YAY!!!!! Only thing they were missing was community coffee;)
