the friday five:
"1. Do you remember your first best friend? Who was it?
Hmmm ... I think my first best friend was Jesica Lozon. She is my godsister (we share the same godfather, my uncle joe)
2. Are you still in touch with this person?
Not directly ... no. But my dad and step mom are in constant contact with her family (my step mom works for them :p~) so i get updates and have seen her a couple of times in the past couple years
3. Do you have a current close friend?
yes. Kevin. but besides him ... Jayson & Chicken, my mom & my sis & online ... dali!
4. How did you become friends with this person?
I'm gonna talk about my Jayson here ... *sigh* this brings back the memories. We were at a cast party at someone's house for "where's Charlie" a Wyandotte Community Theatre production and Jayson was sitting outside on the front porch. I went outside and sat with him and we chatted and he asked me if i wanted some orange juice (he was drinking some) and i said sure and he got me a glass. It was his OJ he brought to the party. I remember i complimented him on his shoes. We sat there talking for awhile and then my friends Dave, Emily, Chris, and Jay (a different Jay) asked if i wanted to go to burger king with them (the party was kinda lame) so i said sure and turned to Jayson and asked if he wanted to go too. he said yes and we all piled in the car and went up there. I remember Jayson sat behind me in the restaurant and played with my hair and we laughed at Jay cuz he bit into the sandwish and it was hot and he did the "hothothot" fanning his mouth with the hot food inside (i'm sure we've all done this) When we got back to the house where the party was i invited Jayson and Dave over to my house . We went and watched Stephen Banks and i played the piano and we sang and we made plans to go see Spaced Invaders (still haven't seen the movie) and I remember we were laying on my waterbed takling and Jayson and i said we were going to be friends forever. And we are! (That was 13 years ago May 6th! there are many more details in this story, but that's the jist ... correct me if I'm wrong Jayson)
5. Is there a friend from your past that you wish you were still in contact with? Why?"
yeah i think so. Rebecca Kamin. I miss her. She was my best friend all thru high school and we had a falling out (mostly my fault I'm sure. I look back at hs and i think i was a judgmental bitch alot of the time) and lost contact a few years later. I went to her wedding in Kalamazoo and that was pretty much it. Oh! and that reminds me of Kim Lau (now Kilburn) another one of my best friends in hs.

I am such a baby! I just went downstairs to put the fabric softener in the laundry ... by myself might I add. I am already scared of being down there by myself, but Kevin went down with me earlier to start the laundry and so I guess I felt kinda empowered. So I went downstairs and as I was walking to the laundry room I noticed the door to the "employees only" section was ajar (the boiler room I think ... which in and of itself is a scary thing thanks to Freddy Kreuger). I ran to the laundry room and went to unlock it to get in and my key wouldn't work. That is nothing unusual ... but with my crazy adrenaline pumping and my mind racing I started to freak out. I kept looking back towards the direction the boiler room door was and felt my heart beating faster and faster. Until finally i told myself to calm down and turned my back to the boiler room door direction (or as i was thinking "the way someone would come from to attack me") and was able to open the door.
So I did my thing and added the fabric softener (just in time I might add) and decided NOT to lock the door back up when i left. lol. I have to go back down there in about 20 minutes to put the clothes in the dryer but at least this time i can just run to the laundry room and close the door while I'm in there and no one can get to me :D
I know I'm crazy and paranoid and have probably read too many Stephen King books, but that's just the way I am ... so deal! :p~
