My First Friday Five!!!

1. What did you have for breakfast this morning? If you didn't have breakfast, why not?


No breakfast today. just woke up about an hour ago. Lunch is currently being thought about.


2. What's your favorite cereal?


Honey Nut Cheerios (at least until the Neopets promotion is over!)


3. How often do you eat out? Do you want that to change?


we get carry out about 4 times a week, eat out about once or twice. that's about enough for me ;)


4. What do you plan on having for dinner tonight? Got a recipe for that?


Leftover Chili *yum* The recipe pretty much changes everytime we have it. Usually it's 3 lbs meat (we like leftovers)sauteed with lots of garlic & onion, 3 cans kroger's diced tomatoes (with jalapeno), 3 cans hot chili beans, 3 hot chili spice packets (1 pkg per lb of meat), and maybe an extra jalapeno or serrano or two as desired. cooked for about an hour, then ladled over a layer of corn chips (preferably fritos) and topped with shredded cheese & more chopped onion. *YUM*(there's lunch me thinks!!)


5. What's your favorite restaurant? Why?


Giovanni's . . . because my Kevin is the soux chef. Other than that, probably have to say Black Pine Tree in S'gate. i LOVE sushi!!!

So I'm heading to take a tiny nap before my LONG day begins :p Just had to share that it took SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS!!!! to defrag my computer today. I started it last night at around 2am and it didn't finish until a little after 9:30am.

i hadn't defragged in over 90 days tho . . . so hopefully it won't take quite so long to do it next time.

okay, so there's a certain person's post in the purkle couch today that simply drove me MAD!!! there was a blurb in the Neo news about that fact that Neo had partnered with the same people that make the magic:the gathering trading cards in order to make neo cards which is to be released late this year click here for more details. Which is very cool! YAY!! but at the very end of this person's post they put "(ok, so I knew about this...)"

*sigh* Normally anything anyone posts doesn't bother me but this is just such an ARROGANT post i can't get over it . . . not just yet anyway. Maybe I'm being a little sensitive. Most likely i am. But really, it's just a game and a little bit of news. Why do you have to be all"but of course i knew about this before any of you because i am so cool and in the know and the rest of you suck cuz you wish you could be cool like me"

Okay, I'm gonna go to sleep now. We have to wake up early cuz i have to take my mom to work in the A.M. Her car is broken.*muah* Sweet Dreams!

we went last night and saw "8 Mile" at the dollar show. I kinda didn't want to see it at all in the theatre cuz of all the little wanna be hoodie rats that were bound to be there. But it wasn't that bad last night. Only about 20 people in the theatre. And the movie itself was surprisingly good. I had no real expectation. I kinda thought it was just gonna be a long music video. It wasn't. I really liked it. It DID make Detroit look like a dismal place, but that's where he came from. It's like any other city in any other movie about the shadier or less ritzy side of life. Detroit totally looks poor and ghetto, but that's where he came from. Even tho the movie's NOT autobiographical, it is based off of his life somewhat. I think my fave parts were the battles at The Shelter. Especially once Eminem justs kicks it into high gear. He's such an awesome lyricist!

So now i'm waiting for Kevin to come home from work. He was supposed to be home like an hour ago. I don't know what has happened to him. I'm hoping he's just working over some and forgot to call me. I have to get to work tho. If i don't go by 6pm it's not even worth me going in. :p~
