The A/C guys still aren't here and haven't called. They said either 9am this morning (didn't happen) or around 12 or 1pm (still waiting). We'll see. Thank goodness it's not warm out there. I can get away with the windows open and the fan circulating air.
Working on a Smokey Robinson CD. I need to get rid of all the extra crap on my computer. After this I'm gonna work on those pictures....then get to work on the bedroom if those A/C guys get here sometime in the next few hours. *sigh* This is the 2nd time it's had to be fixed. They said it's going to take a week this time, so they're giving us a backup unit for the interim.
I don't have much to say. I'm ready to go back to work tho. I'm tired of being here all the time. Kevin's been great, but I need to get back on my own 2 feet. I need to get out of this slump I'm in. *sigh*

I'm really missing dali. I miss her when i'm here at night and there's no one else to talk to online. Her neoversary was 2 days ago and I didn't send her anything. I didn't know what to do. Anything I sent over would have been sent back i'm sure.
Plus I'm PMSing right now. I'm such a bitch. And I can't sleep. I get this way when i'm like this. Almost a mania. But with Kevin sleeping I can't really get anything productive done, so i'm stuck playing Neopets or fiddling with pictures and websites.
I'm so proud of my GF! She's finally actually moving! Got the emai from her today. I know she's doing the right thing, even tho it's gonna be hard. I have faith in her. *hugs*

SEATTLE, Washington (Reuters) -- A black bear was found passed out at a campground in Washington state recently after guzzling down three dozen cans of a local beer, a campground worker said on Wednesday.
"We noticed a bear sleeping on the common lawn and wondered what was going on until we discovered that there were a lot of beer cans lying around," said Lisa Broxson, a worker at the Baker Lake Resort, 80 miles (129 kilometers) northeast of Seattle.
The hard-drinking bear, estimated to be about two years old, broke into campers' coolers and, using his claws and teeth to open the cans, swilled down the suds.
It turns out the bear was a bit of a beer sophisticate. He tried a mass-market Busch beer, but switched to Rainier Beer, a local ale, and stuck with it for his drinking binge.
Wildlife agents chased the bear away, but it returned the next day, said Broxson.
They set a trap using as bait some doughnuts, honey and two cans of Rainier Beer. It worked, and the bear was captured for relocation.

DETROIT -- A Wayne County Circuit Court jury found a former Southgate middle school teacher guilty of second-degree criminal sexual conduct Monday for having sex with a student.
The jury dismissed a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct against Paul Ivity and convicted him of the lesser offense.
He will be sentenced Sept. 3.
Second-degree criminal sexual conduct is defined as engaging in sexual contact with another person.
The first-degree charge implies there was penetration.
The jury deliberated the case for a short time Friday and rendered a verdict Monday afternoon.
"The jury obviously didn't believe the allegations of intercourse," defense attorney James Burdick said.
He said he believes Ivity was convicted of the lesser charge because the alleged victim kept changing her story.
The jury dismissed the first-degree charge of criminal sexual conduct, which carried a mandatory sentence of up to life in prison.
The second-degree charge could result in probation or a lesser amount of jail time up to 15 years.
Burdick said he was pleased with the outcome.
"I would be more pleased if he was acquitted as should have been," he said.
Prosecuting attorney Louisa Papalas said even though the initial charge was dismissed, the jury still found that Ivity used his position of authority over the girl to coerce her.
"We're still happy with the verdict," Papalas said. "It's a lesser degree, but still a very serious felony."
Ivity, 32, was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl he coached on a junior varsity soccer team at Southgate Anderson High School.
The trial began Aug. 4 before Judge John O'Hair in Wayne County Circuit Court.
Ivity took the stand in his defense last week.
The former teacher wrapped up his testimony Thursday, saying that he didn't know the teen had been drinking at his house.
He told the jury that he discovered her passed out in the bathroom.
The prosecution presented DNA evidence that it said proved Ivity committed the crime and the teen testified that she and Ivity had sex.
The defense presented several character witnesses, including former students and their parents, who portrayed Ivity as an upstanding teacher and coach.
The alleged victim and her mother testified at the trial's start, followed by her father and counselor, police and medical personnel last week.
Papalas said Friday that the defense tried to impeach the girl's credibility by saying she made inconsistent statements.
"We acknowledged that she was less than forthcoming in the emergency room," she said.
"She wanted to protect him. She had a mentor relationship with him."
Ivity originally faced six counts of criminal sexual conduct, but those charges were reduced to a single count.
He worked as a physical education teacher at Gerisch Middle School and coached junior varsity soccer at Southgate Anderson High School, but resigned from the district in April.
The alleged victim, now 16, was a ninth-grader at Davidson Middle School when the alleged incident took place Aug. 19, 2003, at Ivity's house.
The teen had seen Ivity during the summer at a soccer camp run by the school district.
According to testimony from her mother, she left that morning with Ivity, who later called saying that she was acting strange and wanted him to take her to the Grogan Elementary School playground.
Her parents found her lying on the ground there with Ivity nearby.
Medical personnel testified that the teen had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent, more than twice the 0.08 percent legal limit for adults under Michigan law.
Her mother took her back to the hospital for a rape test after later learning of the alleged sexual assault.
The hospital brought the matter to the attention of police and school officials.
Ivity was suspended from the school in October after a police investigation.

Trying to play catch up on some of my neopets stuff and I'm getting depressed again. Reading posts from dali and it just makes me so sad. I wish there were something I could do. There's not. Today is her neoversary. I'm just gonna wait for her to contact me in her own due time i guess. *sigh*
Didn't do the pics today. I got to messing on the computer. I still need to get Kevin's resume up and posted on sites. I told him it was already done. I'll do that tomorrow. My eyes are starting to fade right now. Surprising since I've had about a billion cups of Iced tea lol.
Kevin took me out to dinner tonight. The Great Dragon Buffet with all you can eat sushi! I love sushi! They totally didn't have any tuna...Kevin said the price of it is thru the roof right now...but they had some FABULOUS salmon and other yummy smoked fish. He took me out to make me feel better. I love him so much! I don't know what I'd do without him in my life, really i don't. I think of all the times in the first year or so of us being together and how close we came to calling it quits. We had a rough time in the beginning. We've grown up alot together in the past 4 years and I can't imagine my life without him. I can't wait to get married to him and make this whole thing legal finally!
Speaking of which, we have a tentative date. May 5th, 2006. It's a friday and it's CINCO DE MAYO! Our reception is gonna have little Mexican themed stuff lol. Won't that be fabulous!?! I have to lose about 100 lbs before then, but I will. I'l gonna start soon going on bike rides. I have to do something to make myself feel better. Maybe if i start biking I can work back up to running, which i loved to do when i was younger.
I have so much to do. I have to catch up on my Neopets responsibilities... I have to finish those pics and put them on a webpage.... I have to reorganize my desk... I have to work on the closets in the apt (we still have stuff that isn't unpacked)...and to top it all off, I need to look for a job. *sigh* So depressed. I don't think I can handle reading anymore dali posts, so I'm gonna just do some account stuff and head to sleep. *hugs*

I'm pretty depressed right now. I got a phone call earlier this evening from Theres December... The interview I had last week...They filled the position. It's not that I was sure I had the job, but I was pretty confident they were going to at least call me back for another interview this week. Oh well! Guess it's a good thing I didn't go to practice my Excel today. Was gonna go to my mom's work to freshen up on my skills. I forgot actually that I was gonna do that and instead we went down to Toledo to get cigarettes (14 for $27 bucks! Thank goodness for coupons!). We also got a refill kit for the printer and some yummy delicious dearborn hot dogs for dinner. They were YUMMY!!!
Talked to my cousin down in Louisiana last night, Terese. Her computer wasn't letting her get online. I tried to help her as much i could, then i called help support and they gave me the run around. I was 2 seconds away from seriously switching ISPs. FINALLY i got someone willing to help us. I don't know if she got online yet. She called back and said they told her it was her modem so she has to get that replaced:(
Everyone down there is good she said. Michelle and Ron asked her if she would be their baby's nanny. I think that's kinda cool myself. And Andrea still hasn't had her baby yet. She's due in a couple weeks. I'll try and shoot them both an email this week. I'm gonna spend tomorrow all day online i think to try and get those pix up. Something to make me feel better. I'm really feeling bad about this whole job thing *sigh*
Let's see, what else? We had a bar-b-que yesterday at my mom's with us, mom, Ricky and Larry. Just hot dogs and hamburgers and potato salad. It was nice. we were gonna go to the drive in last night but it looked like rain so we rented movies instead. so exciting I know.
OH! saturday I went with Ricky to get my hair done at the salon he goes to. They did a fabulous job! I'd show you the pic but my cat apparently decided the digital camera would be a nice litter box and now there's $70 down the drain. I was so mad at her I was almost gonna trow her out friday night when I got home from work. Didn't. Gotta find out some way to get her fixed still My gf told me about a vet in Westland or something. Gotta get that infor again. They do hard luck cases (which is me).
Saturday night my mom and I went to the Lions game. 1st preseason game at Ford Field. We won! 21-27!!! Against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a fantastic game! I had such a good time! Joey looked really good IMHO!
Okay, I thought this would make me feel better, but I'm really tired and depressed so I'm just gonna go play some Neopets and try and cheer up a little. Kevin is doing his best to keep my spirits up! He even rented 13 going on 30 for me. *hugs*
