I'm so weepy 2day
OMG...it started when i woke up to a knock @ the front door. It was a delivery. From New Mexico. THANK YOU fawN!!! I had 2 cups of chai immediately! And I cried a little bit cuz you are such a thoughtful friend. I don't deserve you!
It continued with listening to a cassette tape of me singing. It was a copy of the tape i gave my Mama (grandma) the xmas before she passed away. Xmas songs on one side...standards on the other. It was okay...a couple of songs I was sucky I admit...but it got to the end of the xmas songs and I had recorded me saying "Merry Christmas Mama....I Love You" I heard that and I started bawling uncontrollably. Just out of nowhere and I couldn't stop myself. I cried for about an hour.
And just now I was watching the beginning of the Rose Bowl and saw LeeAnn Rimes singing the Star Spangled Banner and it brought tears to my eyes. Not that she was all that (altho she was pretty damn amazing) i don't know...it just hit me right in the heart.
SO now it's time to go watch the football game (i don't know who I'm rooting for....my family's from TX but my t'hy'la went to USC) and crochet a little. *hugs*

HAPPY NEW YEAR
I hope everyone has a great one! I think 2006 is gonna be a great year. It's already started off on a good note. It would be better if Kevin didn't get called into work tonight, but beggars can't be choosers.
We went to my Papa's for the traditional NYE party. Got there around 11:30pm. Drank a little too much chanpagne. Gave everyone their gifts. Renee and Jen liked their scarves and Angie really appreciated the afghan. And Papa's eyes were beaming he was so proud that I picked crochet up so quickly.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pics of the afghan finished, but I will. That will go on my crochet blog (which i plan to get going in the next week or so)
Anyway...I love all my friends so much *hugs* thanks for all your words of kindness and support when I've been down or bitchy. I really appreciate everything. And my New Year's resolution is to try and be a better friend to everyone I know. LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
