Blog 365

I'm not sure, but I think I'm disqualified from blog 365 due to a blogger malfunction in which posts I've sent from my phone haven't been posting to my blog. Which sucks cuz I've been neurotic about posting each day ... just ask hubby. Many is the night at 11:30PM i'm like "OH CRAP! can we pause this movie/tv show/whatever we're doing cuz I have to go blog before midnight!"

I'm still gonna try and keep up with it tho. I mean, it's kinda fun. Even if I don't say much or I ramble on about nothing.

Speaking of rambling....I'm staying this weekend at my mom's house in the Dotte. It's the same house I grew up in (so i'm sure many of you know exactly where it is and what it looks like) Anyway, it's kinda weird. It's different from when I lived here (except the shrine to my sister a.k.a. her old bedroom) but it still evokes such memories.

Like just now I took a shower (i'm all sparkly freshly clean! come smell me!) And suddenly it was 6AM and I was getting ready for school. (yes! 6AM! darn zero hours!) All kinds of memories came flooding back to me.

Which reminds me, somtimes when I take a shower early morning (which rarely happens as I usually wake up early afternoon) something about the smell takes me back to those mornings at Interlochen.

Or when I smell vanilla musk it totally takes me back to my days at Yale.

Or I hear "Open Arms" and suddenly I'm back in 9th grade at a school dance ecstaticly happy cuz the boy I crushed on danced with me.

But I digress.

And now I must get back to making myself presentable for the festival. Banshee should be here shortly and I still have bottlecaps to bang into shape.

dammit to hell!!!

Something is seriously wrong with me.

I took a zyrtec last night before I went to sleep and it knocked me out for 12 hours. I didn't even hear my alarm or hubbys' go off at 9am. instead I slept until noon.

When I finally got up I spent a couple minutes on the puter and then went to the basement to do some crafting (and by crafting i pretty much mean drilling holes into bottlecaps to make elastic bracelets and maybe resining a couple others) i did that for about 2 hours and then I needed a break cuz my arm started to feel tight.

so I laid down on the couch downstairs to get a game plan together in my head...AND FELL ASLEEP AGAIN!!!! for 2 hours!!!

so now I have no caps resined, very few drilled, nothing organized to cart away tomorrow, I haven't eaten anything except a cheese sandwich, and i have darts in 2 hours!

can you say stress? (plus it doesn't help that I'm not coming home again until the festival is over cuz hubby's work schedule is so screwy and we live so far away. instead i'm spending the weekend sleeping at my mom's in the Dotte. which means I have to pack stuff like I'm going on a trip. which SUX!!!)

so I'm gonna head back downstairs and do some more drilling for at least another hour. I've given up on the other resin caps I think, unless I can figure out another way to seal them. and then I'm gonna try and get as much of my stuff packed for the weekend as I possibly can before darts tonight.

feeling blah

so grey outside. And I just took an allergy pill and now all I wanna do is sleep.

Still didn't finish super secret blog project :( that's okay tho I'll get it this week hopefully. Maybe even work on it at the festival this weekend.

So excited that new seasons are starting up on my favorite shows!!!

Yea I think that's it for now. Gonna jump in the shower and hope that makes me feel a little better.
