Got caught up in a whole day of stuff which culminated in karaoke.

Such a blah day

Spent most of today playing facebook's version of scrabble with da banshee killing time. I mostly just wanted to crawl into bed and sleep the day away again since it was so grey outside (and cold) but instead i wasted it in front of the puter doing absolutely nothing.

okay, not NOTHING. I did dowload a couple songs and i'm trying to learn a couple for tonight karaoke with Les and da banshee here on my side of town. And I learned about a new album that Robert Plant and Allison Krauss put out together. It's frigging awesome!!

Getting ready to leave for darts and who knows when I'll get back. hopefully early cuz I have to go out to the same place tomorrow with da banshee and her pirate for karaoke ^_^

Last 24 hours were one of the worst for me. toilet overflowed causeing a couple of lakes in my house. I had a major meltdown. Found out today it was prolly due to situation combined with major PMS. not fun. I'm better today.

5. This story pisses me off. Specifically this part:

are they kidding me? Photo IDs are unfair to MINORITIES and POOR PEOPLE?!? Aren’t we all required by law to have some form of photo ID? Last time I renewed my ID (cuz I don’t have a driver’s license) it was only $8. And you only have to pay that once every 4 years. How is that unfair? *GRRR*

7. Is anyone else watching "The Next Great American Band"? I frigging love this show! I never EVER vote on these shows, I just watch and guess who’s gonna leave. I am voting this time for The Muggs (who are from Detroit) but if I had my way I’d totally vote for these guys:

I have it linked to my blogger and not myspace mostly cuz i need motivation to get back on track over there. I'm also gonna try and transfer my blogs from myspace to blogger over the next month so they can be tagged and more easily searched.

Dancing With The Stars

I'm just on my way to sleep after watching tonight's show on DVR (yes it's really 5AM in my world) and I have a couple things to say.

First of all WTF are they doing dancing a quickstep to THE CURE!?!?! I mean seriously! some things in this world are sacred.

Altho I shouldn't be surpirsed it was Cameron and Edyta. I really can't stand Edyta. I know some people that read this blog and watch this show like her, but I never have. That's another blog. Prolly tomorrow complete with video and jpg support of the reasons I can't stand her.

The other thing that pissed me off. Why did everyone but Cameron and Edyta show support for Sabrina? Everyone had little cheetah paw tattoos on their arms or backs or wrists. Even Marie Osmond and Jane Seymour, who have been very vocal about how "age-ist" the show is since they're older.

Everyone had a symbol of solidarity and it was referred to again and again thru the night when Samantha Harris was referring to voting to keep the people you like on the show.

Everyone but Cameron and Edyta. And that pissed me the hell off.

My fave since the beginning has been Helio. Also worthy of another blog when I'm more awake and sober.

Anyway, this season has pissed me off more than I can count and twice more tonight.

Holy NaBloPoMo Batman!

I just made it under the wire for a post today! YIKES! That's what I get for enjoying a football Sunday before shooting darts and then going to visit my friend Theresa at her place of employ.

Speaking of Football Sunday ... can we say HELL YEAH!!!??!!

The Detroit Lions are now 6-2 ... the first time since 1999. We went to the playoffs that year. Here's hoping we'll do the same this time. And if we do....big party at my house for the playoff game. You are all invited. I'm serious!

Speaking of playoffs, did you know the Detroit Lions were cursed? That's right. When they traded Bobby Layne to Pittsburgh in 1958 when he was injured after we won our championship in 1957 he cursed us saying "we would not win for 50 years"
