I do get a kick out of how almost everyone, when they're rejected, says "let me sing another song" and then just starts singing regardless of what the judges have said.
And the old standby bad singer telling Simon "well that's your opinion" ... UMMM... YEA!!! You knew getting into this that if you wanted to move forward you had to get HIS opinion! DUH!!!
So as of right now, my favorites are the Jesus/fidel looking dude, Sundance, Thomas Daniel (guy with the fro from Seattle), the Indian brother and sister from Seattle, JOrdin Sparks, the really tall chick from Seattle (yea...I'm not really good with names right now), and the really cute latino guy ... i think he was from venezuela or something like that and I think he auditioned in Minneapolis.
We got more auditions tonight. Should be an interesting couple of hours.
AND!!! If you like American Idol, you really should check out Grease: You're the One that I want on NBC Sunday nights. They've narrowed it down to 6 girls and 6 guys who are singing on live TV shows starting this Sunday for the chance to be the leads in the next Broadway production of Grease! I have my faves there too.
