When will it stop?

I'm so f-ing tired of this shit. Just when a light starts to appear at the end of the tunnel, it get doused by some bullshit we can't seem to control.




This time it is the car (again). Hubby was only a couple miles from home when he says it sounded like a chunk of ice got caught under the car and then the car just stopped. A good samaritan stopped and helped hubby push the car off the road and then gave him a ride home. (Thankfully)

Hubby just left in a cab to go back to the car so it can get towed to a garage. Hopefully whatever garage it's taken to (not the one we used last time) can fix it quickly and cheaply and we can move on from there.

I'm just so sick of starting to get a little bit ahead and having shit come up so we deplete our savings once again. I'm beginning to think we're never gonna be able to save money.

I know i complain about not having money alot, but it's continually the most prominent problem in my life lately. Ever since hubby lost his job at the hotel back in  2006 (or was it 2007?) we've been playing catch up. It's only thru the grace of family and friends that we aren't homeless and living in our car or something.

And I know there are people out there that have it way worse than we do. And thankfully we don't have kids to worry about (altho if we did it would make getting help from the government hella easier) - so i know i shouldn't complain as much as i do. But Holy Shatner it's hard to remember all that when every penny brought into the house is accounted for and I can't even afford something as simple as a cup of coffee from the local coffee house right now.

So now I'm just waiting for hubby to get home so I can go to sleep. And hope that things are better when the sun comes up.
