i guess she started waking up from the sedative finally late yesterday and they took her off the ventilator about an hour ago or so. She's still a little loopy, but she's talking and alert. Her infections (bronchial and unrinary tract) are gone and her lungs are free of pneumonia. It's just a matter of if she's strong enough to breathe on her own now.
