we went last night and saw "8 Mile" at the dollar show. I kinda didn't want to see it at all in the theatre cuz of all the little wanna be hoodie rats that were bound to be there. But it wasn't that bad last night. Only about 20 people in the theatre. And the movie itself was surprisingly good. I had no real expectation. I kinda thought it was just gonna be a long music video. It wasn't. I really liked it. It DID make Detroit look like a dismal place, but that's where he came from. It's like any other city in any other movie about the shadier or less ritzy side of life. Detroit totally looks poor and ghetto, but that's where he came from. Even tho the movie's NOT autobiographical, it is based off of his life somewhat. I think my fave parts were the battles at The Shelter. Especially once Eminem justs kicks it into high gear. He's such an awesome lyricist!

So now i'm waiting for Kevin to come home from work. He was supposed to be home like an hour ago. I don't know what has happened to him. I'm hoping he's just working over some and forgot to call me. I have to get to work tho. If i don't go by 6pm it's not even worth me going in. :p~
