So my "conscience" told me that i must update my blog. I have been very lax in the whole thing. It's just been a crazy couple of weeks. We moved, as you know, but coinciding with that was the deletion of the guild i belong to on Neopets ...of which I'm a council member actually.... because of something we're still not completely sure on. We're still working on getting that up and running again 100%...but it's not bad now. We got the board running again a couple short days later and are working on getting all the events and everything back on track. It slowed us down, but didn't stop us. I got all stressed out when it happened tho. I took it personally and I really shouldn't have. I actually was crying the day i found out what happened and seriously thought about leaving neopets. Or at least playing without being a member of a guild again. I went without one for 2 years, I figured I could do it again. Kevin reminded me it was just a game and everyone online reminded me it wasn't my fault for what happened and i got better and like i said we're almost 100% again!

As far as the move, it was brutal i tell you! Thanks to Paul, we got alot of our stuff moved on the 22nd of March. He let us borrow his truck and we were able to move 3 truckloads of boxes and stuff over here to our new place that day. All we really had left was stuff like the furniture, computer and day-to-day necessities. Well Kevin did most of the work actually. I helped as best I could but man i am so out of shape! Plus I couldn't sleep the night before what with getting the tether off and all.

OH yeah! real quick! I got my tether off the 22nd in the AM. Went out there, took the equipment with me, they checked to make sure I had no warrants out for me or anything and when they confirmed I was clean they cut off the tether (well Let me do it) and sent me on my way! YAY! Didn't even say anything about me leaving the house Sunday night the 21st. I was so happy! As of that moment I was completely done with the judicial system. No probation. No tether. No anything! Now all I have to do is wait until December to try and get my license back and I'll be golden!

So anyway, I got the tether off and we did one truckload of stuff and i asked Kevin to let me take like an hour nap cuz I hadn't been able to sleep. He woke me up about an hour and a half later and told me he took one too. No big. I was ready to do some more work. I walked out into the living room and almost everything was GONE! He did a load while i was sleeping and loaded up most of the rest of the stuff to take back over. That was like the best present ever!!!

Sunday March 28th we got my brother Bob and cousin Joe to help us move our furniture. Paul again let us borrow his truck and my dad let us borrow his trailer, which we hooked to my brother's truck. We got all the furniture over here then. Only had a handful of stuff left at the old place, so we set up the bed (on the floor...the frame broke) rented some DVDs and pretty much moved in then.

Wednesday the 31st was a bitch, lemme tell you! We had to finish cleaning up and moving out the last of the stuff we had there that we wanted to keep. It was suck a mess when we walked in that I didn't even know where to begin. We borrowed a carpet cleaner from my brother's mother-in-law. Took us 4 good solid hours of cleaning to get everything the way we wanted but it was worth it. Friday Kevin took Gwen on a walkthru of the place and she gave us our ENTIRE safety deposit back!!!! $650!!!!! So that paid our rent HERE for the month plus gave us a couple of bucks to play with. That was a big relief let me tell you!!!

Friday we went out with our friends Larry and Ricky (sorry Cin) to karaoke at the Best Western on I-75 and West Road. It wasn't bad. We had a blast actually. The songlist is kinda weak. The big thing of the night however was running into someone who used to assistant teach at Roosevelt when i went there. Kathy Kane. She was out celebrating. She had just been named Wayne County Teacher of the Month or Year or something like that. It was nice to see her. She sang a bit. Told me it was nice seeing me keeping up with my music. Told her I was hosting occassionally. When I told my mom I saw her she wasn't too happy. My mom holds grudges. What happened in high school is so long ago it's no need to get worked up over what may have happened. I was passed over in my mom's eyes (and mine too, i won't lie) for parts in school musicals I could have done better than the ones that were cast....but the ones that were cast had connections. Namely with Kathy Kane and Mrs. R. I don't care now tho. I'm still singing and people are enjoying hearing me. What are they doing? I don't see them around...not even in community theatre.

So Kathy gave me her email addy (if anyone that reads this remembers her and wants it let me know) and asked how Rebecca was. Rebecca was my best friend in high school. We were best friends from 8th grade on to senior year. About haleway thru that tho things changed and we ended the year on not so good terms. We made up. I went to her wedding a couple of years later (Kim Lau stood up in it) but that was the last I saw her. I heard she got divorced and is now living somewhere in the southeast with a bf/hubby and a baby on the way.

WOW! I had alot to say! I have more too I'm sure!

So tomorrow I have to go and help Paul work on his house. I promised him I would. It's the least I can do for him letting us borrow his truck. I confirmed it tonight with Julie. I have to admit I'm going reluctantly. Tomorrow isn't such a good day and I really wish I would have gotten more advance warning that he was wanting the help this weekend in particular. But I promised.

We went over to Kevin's brother's house tonight. They're having brunch at their place Easter Sunday. Got to see little Keifer tonight. He's getting so big! I wish I had a picture to share with you. I will soon. We're planning on getting a digital camera before we go to Louisiana in June.

OH! spoke to my sister today. Poor thing didn't get the Wings game on TV (playoffs....wings v nashville ....we're up 1-0) She's stressing about money and stuff. I know the feeling, but Kevin reminded me that they're alot younger than I am. They have alot of time to buy a house and grow up. I should already be there. No big that I'm not, I never expected to be, but she's only 23. She needs to live a little and enjoy that youth. It starts slipping away around 26.

Speaking of youth slipping away, I'm getting grey hairs. Kevin pulled 2 out yesterday. I am so going tomorrow when he gets paid and buying some herbal essences coloring crap or something! going burgundy or purkle or perhaps even blue black. ANYTHING to cover the grey dude!!!

OKay, I have to get back to playing some neopets before I go to sleep. *hugs* Hope this satisfies my conscience. (love you girl!)

I just wanna say I went thru some bullshit too with someone professing to fix my computer and he tried to charge me and arm and a leg when in the end all it needed was some rest apparently :p~ I know it's a totally different scenario in that your bro got his specially built vs mine being repaired, but it still uscks when people do a half ass job ...or in my case try to take advantage.

So i have 15 minutes and I am heading out to the bar. The official story when i go to repost tomorrow? I had to move. ^_^ The real story. I'm going out to have me some beers:p~ I have been uber good! I was talking to Kevin and he told me tonight he didn't think I was gonna make it. But i did/ 2 months. 60 days. No drinks. Okay...a couple drinks. I would have 3 beers on Fridays when i hosted Karaoke ....3 beers before 10pm. and MAYBE a beer after I blew at 3AM. I'm not gonna lie. It was tough. but I'm glad I did it. I'm proud of myself. I'm gonna be a much more responsible drinker from now on. But tonight is all about getting drunk:p~

*sigh* Apparently it's just not going to work. I have blocked him on AIM and I'm probably gonna have to block him on Neopets at some point. It's a shame. It would have been nice to have someone else to talk to about Neopets. Especially nights like tonight when i can't sleep cuz of that stupid movie "fear of the Dark" and I'm just aimlessly wandering around Neopia.

So I know this belongs on my Neopets Blog but I wanted it here. No one knows my other blog. I want to make the statement that I did try. I want to show what was said. I re-reead it and I can't believe it. WTF kind of comment "billy owns me...if it weren't for him and Gracie I wouldn't have a home" WTF. yes, i admit part of that is true. But I played Neopets for 2 whole years without a guild. Didn't bother me. As a matter of fact, I didn't want to join a guild because of politics. But I like the Couch. I like the help I got and now can give to people that play. That comment bothers me. Is that how I appear?

And all the namedropping. I don't give a rats ass if you had the biggest shop in Neopia or the strongest pet. I don't care. That's not my goal. My goal is to have fun and play a game. Earn nps to buy things i like. talk to people who have a similar mindset and make online friends.
