Yet another reason to switch to Firefox

performancing.com

This is prolly the best reason I have found now to switch to firefox. It's an extension that you dl for Firefox that will allow you to blog from wherever you are on the web. And it allows you to cross blog. So say, like me, you have 50 million blogs out there but forget to post to them from time to time.....now you can make 1 blog and post it to all 50 million with the push of a couple buttons.

I know not all of you will appreciate this, but I know at least Monica will.

I've always heard how great firefox is, and I use it from time to time, but my favorite browser is maxthon. It's tabbed like firefox but the interface is like IE. Unfortunately most plugins don't work with it. But firefox is completely customisable (is that a word?) and with this extension even better for someone like me. Now I won't fall behind with my blogger blog when I post to my myspace blog.

I LOVE THIS!!!! Seriously, even if you don't blog regularly, get yourself some Firefox, then head over to performancing.com for the extension install....then over to the myspace addon. You have to restart firefox after the installs (just close it out and reopen) to the them to work. There's a screencast so you can see how to fully utalize this wonderful extension for myspace. But it's super easy to add regular blogs (blogger, livejournal, etc....)

I learned about this from this blog.

Lions Season is almost upon us

I know I'm boring

my blogs are definitely not fodder for thought lately. I just read over them and I'm pretty damn lame. So I apologize. I don't mean to be boring...it just happens. And like I said before, I'd rather talk about what I DO instead of what I THINK....just a little safer to me that way.

We rented a movie thru netflix and it came today. Battle Royale. It's japanese. to quote a synopsis from imdb.com:

At the dawn of the new millennium, Japan is ina a state of near-collapse. Unemployment is at an all-time high, and violence amongst the nations youth is spiralling out of control. With school children boycotting their lessons and physically abusing their teachers, a beleaguered and near-defeated government decides to introduce a radical new measure: the Battle Royale Act Overseen by their former teacher, Kitano ('Beat' Takeshi) and requiring that a randomly chosen school class be taken to a deserted island and forced to fight each other to the death, the Act dictates that only one pupil be allowed to survive the punishment. He or she will return, not as the victor, but as the ultimate proof of the lengths to which the government are prepared to go to curb the tide of juvenile disobedience.".

It was really really good! Kinda gory, but not nearly as much as, say, Audition. And it was pretty much nonstop stuff happening...once they get on the island. It was recommended to us by Stan, Ian and Michelle's friend. He did good. I wasn't disappointed. I kinda wish now I could friend him on netflix to see what else he would recommend.

Speaking of netflix...I spent about 2 hours going thru movies and rating them and adding them to our queue...only to discover later that I was signed on under Kevin's profile and not mine. Which isn't that big a deal except that now netflix thinks Kevin likes Marilyn Monroe and Gene Kelley and fluffy stuff like Ice Princess. Sorry Kevin.

I love blogs

yes I do. I am (as my friend so delicately puts it) a blog yeti. I'm not as prolific as Monica, nor do I espouse my views as eloquently as she or Jayson, but I hold my own. Blogging for me is a way to get things off my chest mostly.

And I love to read blogs. I don't care what they are about. tell me what you had for lunch, tell me how much you hate current events, tell me why you choose to believe what you believe, I don't care. I just want to read about you. I find even the most seemingly mundane fascinating when it comes to the people I know and love (and sometimes even those I don't). I am a sucker for a blog.

I am subscribed currently to almost 50 blogs of my friends (and a couple random people I ran across and kinda liked) My goal is to be subscribed to the blog of every single friend I have ... even if you don't have one now...someday you may break down and jot some interesting factoid about your day and I will eagerly consume it. I will read it and it will give me insight into the person that you are. And I will love you even more.

Yes I'm a freak. I happily admit that. I am addicted to blogs. But then, aren't you a little bit? Otherwise you wouldn't be reading this.

Old PIcs

These are from Senior Year. First the only Senior Pic I can find of myself:

Then a few pics from Senior Prom....funny I only have pics of the guys.

From left to right: Jayson Cruse, Dave Squires, Ed Kaminski ... Andy Kilburn was in this pic but that part of it got ruined so I had to crop him out :(

Another pic of the guys on the stage. From Right to Left Ed Kaminski, Andy Kilburn, Dave Squires, Jason Cruse:

And lastly, a pic of me and my "date" for prom, Dave Squires.
