I knew almost all the others....but i found the last fact to be AWESOME!!!! Of course Tim Burton would love Tim Curry!! While I love Jack Nicholson in the role, now I can't help but wonder what a different beast that role and movie would have been with Tim as the Joker.

So yeah, I've been blogging a bit more...maybe I have more to say, i don't know. Anyway. I had a dream last night that I was in love with Jason (the karaoke guy...i can't remember his last name) It was crazy. I was all into him... he looked like he did before he left to go up morth (which was about 4 years ago maybe). I don't remember all the details now, but I know that I was just crazy about him. Isn't that weird. I mean I'm not now. I was before. Man when i first met him i was absolutely insame about him. We would talk when he got home from doing karoke all the time. I dont' think i ever even kissed him tho. funny. Double funny that he told Joel what he did about me considering we never did anything together. huh. you never know people I guess.

Also had terry in the dream. Old old boyfriend. Smoked camel non-filters. Really cute, but older (like in his 40s & i was around 25) loved Nascar. He's the reason I like nascar actually. I used to have to watch it on Sundays with him when i would go over to his place. Last time I talked to him was when Chrissy died. And I don't like to think about that cuz that just makes me really sad. I miss her so much. Even now when I go into Charlie's I expect to see her there. I hacve a hard time singing "I will survive" cuz it was her favorite song for me to sing. I'm getting misty eyed right now. She was a good person. Had a huge heart. I loved her so.

Speaking of people I used to know.... I didn't blog about this before cuz i was so freaked out about it i didn't know WHAT to do. About a month or so ago I got a comment from a person I used to know... Beth ... yea i was totally not thrilled to have her comment on my blog. Especially in such a negative way.

CRAP! I had so much to say and Kevin just walked in the door. Time for me to go to work. *hugs*

P.S. I got an email from TOM SAVINI today *does happy dance* Don't know who he is? Check out his website at savini.com

Here is how to contact Andy Lee

Andy Lee

This is the guy that we met at Comic Con on Sunday when we volunteer . Let me tell you...Well first let me tell you that Mr. Andy Lee is a fabulous guy! And an amazing amazing artist! I am in awe of the talent he has to turn a few simple lines into such beautiful masterpieces! I am in love with his dragon! (boy that sounds kinda dirty... ooops)

So anyway... Here's how the day went... We woke up early early early (7:30am) to get ready to go to Novi for this thing. We picked our autographs on the way there. Kevin picked Ron Perlman (hellboy) first, Marc Singer (Beastmaster) 2nd and Michael Dorn (Worf) 3rd. I picked George Takei (sulu) 1st, Michael Dorn 2nd and Gates McFadden (Dr.Crusher) 3rd. (They're supposed to mail them to us, so we still don't know who we got) We got there and they put me at the same place as last time, near the hospitality room. And Kevin got guest area duty...Just like before. It was awesome! From the beginning, I felt more comfortable, it was more relaxed. I was opening the door for all the guest to come in to the convention center, so I got to see everyone first. Space Ghost (George Lowe) was there SUPER early (well compared to the rest of them) and he was FABULOUS!!! I LOVE him!!!! I wish I would have chosen to get his autograph. (okay, not really, I really really wanted Sulu's...But he would have been 2nd) .... George Takei walked in with his coat draped over his shoulders like a cape and looked at me as I held the door for him (I was wearing my favorite flames rockabilly type shirt) and gestured with his hands *such a lovely muted ensemble* he said. OMG he couldn't have flamed more if he tried!!! And Dean Haglund (of XFiles Lone Gunmen fame)... Totally reminded me of Carson from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy! Very cool guy! Apparently he did a stand up at the Doubletree Hotel the night before and everyone went so they were all hungover and late coming in lol. Tim Russ walked in and said he didn't get to sleep until around 3am. Daniel Logan (Boba Fett in attack of the clones) said he only got like an hour. He was adorable! Came up behind me and scared me as he was walking thru once.

Let's see...I got to see a bunch of people...Helped Erin Grey with her stuff when she got in (from Silver Spoons and Buck Rogers) ... Held the door open for Alfonso Ribeiro (no...He didn't do the Carlton dance...He did however walk over to Wendy's at lunchtime...Can you imagine being the person waiting on him...Or driving by and seeing him walking down the street...lol) ... Chatted a little with Felix Silla (twikkie from buck Rogers...Great guy!!!) ... Saw Gil Gerard (BUCK ROGERS... He's gained a bit of weight since then. Nice guy too)... ummmmm....OH! ANDY LEE!!! He went out and had a smoke with Kevin...Bummed a cigarette I guess...And that's how we got 2 FABULOUS pieces of art from him. He drew me a picture of Illusen from Neopets and drew Kevin a cool as hell Godzilla! They're 11x17 so I can't scan them in their entirety. I wanna shrink them down at kinko's (to stay color) so I can then post them for everyone to see how beautiful they are! We have them in our living room right now.

After we got done volunteering we walked around. Talked with Tom Sullivan (of Evil Dead fame) for like 20 minutes! He is such a cool cool guy!!!! I'm a total fan now! I can't wait to see him again! I want to buy a print of his artwork AND take in the Evil Dead book we have. He showed us how to "decipher" the writings in the book too. He was hella cool! OH! And Space Ghost had some guy come up to him and get an autograph ... "What do you want me to write" SG asks ... "Anything" the guy responds ... "Anything? Really?" says SG ... "Sure" says the guy... SG "I've been waiting for 3 days to write this" (laughing the whole time) ... On guy's picture "to mike (guy's name) the biggest pussy I know ...George Lowe" .... LMAO!!! Isn't that the funniest thing you've heard!?! I love SG!!! George Lowe is the shizznit!!!!

Let's see...Tanya Roberts... Really nice...Came back and smelled the cookies baking and asked me if it was driving me crazy. Not really I said. She said she LOVES cookies...She went off her diet the night before and had like 20 cookies and some ice cream. Yeah...She's like a size 0... I don't think it would catch up to her. Kate Jackson...Also very nice, but from what Kevin said a bit neurotic in signing. She needed to have a volunteer sitting behind her at all times so no one would walk up from behind the curtains and surprise her (is our guess) and she allowed no flash photography until after 3pm. You could take a pic, you just couldn't use a flash. But like I said, very nice.

Okay, I think I'm done now. I had such a fabulous time on Sunday. I think the best however was Andy Lee. He is cool as hell and cute too (*shhhhhhhhhh*) and so nice. I would love to be able to have us keep in touch with him somehow and definitely I want to see him at the next show here in Detroit (in October) for which I shall take my camera...I promise. I forgot it this time (again) too damn early!

After 17 years of marriage, a man dumped his wife for his young secretary. His new girlfriend demanded that she wanted to live in the couple's multimillion dollar home, and since the man's lawyers were a little better,he prevailed. He gave his now ex-wife just 3 days to move out.

She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases. On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things. On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of Chardonnay.

When she had finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp shells, dipped in caviar, into the hollow of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.

When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the first few days. Then slowly, the house began to smell. They tried everything; cleaning & mopping and airing the place out. Vents were checked for dead rodents, and carpets were steam cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which they had to move out for a few days, and in the end they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked. People stopped coming over to visit... Repairmen refused to work in the house... The maid quit...

Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move. A month later, even though they had cut their price in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house. Word got out, and eventually, even the local Realtors refused to return their calls. Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a
new place.

The ex -wife called the man,! and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely, and said that she missed her old home terribly, and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back...

Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed on price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth... But only if she were to sign the papers that very day. She agreed, and within the hour, his lawyers delivered the paperwork.

A week later, the man and his new girlfriend stood smirking as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home...

including the curtain rods!!!

New breed of software maps and hones our interconnections

See the pic? I went to college with him. For a year. Antony Brydon. Don't know why I decided to look him up, but google him I did;) We weren't close by any means. He lived in the dormroom downstairs from us. Entryway D. He lived with San, Joel, and Ollie. They had the serious hookup lemme tell you. I think they had like 3 computers. I remember we used to wanna play tetris on the IBM all the time. And they had to best couch. I think Antony got it. I slept on the couch once cuz I had gone dancing and I danced so much I couldn't walk up the stairs to our own room so I knocked on their door. that was fun.

My college experience was fun. I miss those people sometimes so much. Especially Nadine and Judy and Tanya. *sigh* I miss having women as friends like that. You never have that again. I wish I could have kept in touch with everyone. I really kinda wanted to go to the Yale reunion this year at New Haven, but I only went one year. I don't know anyone really. And I looked at the list of people confirmed going and the only people on the list I'm interested in would be Joel Stotkin, Tanya Isler, Priy Sinha...and I think that's pretty much it on the list. I mean I'd like to see others...Ayde Gonzalez, Adam Steinman, Scott Darling (I had such a crush on him...i don't think I spoke 2 words to him the whole time i went there)

Well, kevin's here and I have to go to work tonight in order to be here in time for 24. We're gonna try the meatball pizza tonight from Little V's. They have the best pizza!!! Their crazy mushroom bread is fabulous too. *yum* Gotta jet!!

Kevin is the most amazing man in the whole world! I actually slept in today (which worked out...i was supposed to go to work and have my mom drive me, but she went to church with my Papa (who was supposed to be out of town today but my cousin decided to take her mother-in-law out for mother's day instead of taking him to see Mama in grand rapids) and when I talked to her a few minutes ago she wasn't even CLOSE to being home) and so when i got up i did what i normally do. I checked and the kitty was sleeping next to me on the bed, so i got up and went to the bathroom and she followed me in like she always does. When I was thru in there I walked, following the kitty, to the kitchen where I changed her water and gave her some food. then I made my way over to turn on the computer so I could ...well PLAY of course!!! And there leaning in front of the monitor is a pink envelope that says "MOMMY" on it and something behind it. So i pick them both up, trying not to see what the thing behind it was until after I read the card. And it's the most adorable little card that says" Happy Mother's Day with bunches of love XXXOOO" and written underneath is says (in Kevin's handwriting) "Thank you mommy for fresh food clean water and all the love I need. I love you" and a little paw print drawn underneath. Isn't that just the cutest thing!?!?! And the thing behind it? It was a special edition DVD of LEGEND!!!! Isn't he just the sweetest man on the face of this earth!?! I am such a lucky woman!

Course now I gotta get him something for father's day. Hmmmm.... I'll have to think on that.
