Had a great time last night with friends. Went with C to karaoke at the Stray cat and wowed people with my voice (lol and then up to Gizzmo's with hubby for a couple martinis (SO GOOD!!!!)
Seriously in the almost 2 weeks I've been here I've done more with friends than I have in the last 6 months at the other place. It's crazy. And reinforces our decision to move here. Words fail me at how much more at ease I am back in Wyandotte. Altho I wish we had moved here a couple months earlier (it's getting TOO COLD to walk around outside!!!!) I'm happy we're finally here no matter what.
Tomorrow is the Jets v Lions game w/ hubby. I'm really really hoping for a Lions win, but it's unlinkely. Which means I may have to punch hubby in the throat to stop him from gloating.
Extra hour tonight. I'm using it to get extra sleep so I don't get tired during the game. Usually I'm all about the extra hour of being out, but this week i think my age has caught up with me. And the martinis from yesterday lol.
